Professor Simon Wright MBE BDS MSc PGCTLCP FHEA FDTFEd (RCSEd)
Professor Wright has been a principal partner of the Glencairn Dental group of practices since 2002. He has a personal chair at the University of Salford, awarded for his practice, research and teaching in Dental Implantology. He is the Clinical Lead for the Masters of Dental Implantology at Salford University He lectures nationally and internationally and he has been invited as keynote speaker to Congresses and Forums. Professor Wright is leading the National Drive for Patient Safety in Dentistry, and chairs the National Advisory Board in Human Factors. He has been awarded an MBE for his work in this field.
Sue Williams Practice Manager GDC
Sue has been with practice since 2023., and handles the day to day running of the practice, as well as all the clinical governance. Her door is always open. If you would like to talk to her about the practice or any aspect of your dental care, please let the reception team know.

Charlotte has been with practice since 2016, and is responsible for overseeing the running of Glencairn and our sister practices.
Rachael Gorman RDT 226292 GC Dental Lab Manager
Rachael is our Lab Technician; she has embraced digital technology straight from university. She has spent the last 7 years designing, milling and grinding prosthetics from single crowns on natural teeth to full arch reconstructions on implants. She is extremely experienced and knowledgeable on this technology and is a key member of the digital flow at Glencairn.
Dr Jack Roberts BDS (Newc) MFDS (RCSEd) PGCert MSC GDC 271391
Dr Jack Roberts graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 2017 and joined the Glencairn team shortly after. Since graduation Jack has been recognised as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) and has completed various further qualifications. Jack has a keen interest in implant dentistry and has completed a three year MSC programme at Salford University. Jack also has a passion for conservative dentistry in particular root canal treatments, for which he has been awarded a PgCert from Chester University. Perhaps the most rewarding part of Jack's work is taking care of Glencairn's more anxious patients.
Dr Katherine Dyson graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2013 with a BDS Honours and distinctions in all three areas; Oral Health, Oral Diseases and Restorative Dentistry. Following this she has passed examinations to gain membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh (MFDS RCS Edin). Katherine enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, but is particularly interested in aesthetics, and has extended her skills and the range of treatment options available to her patients through a post-graduate course in Restorative Dentistry. Katherine is also a certified Invisalign Go provider and enjoys combining this with other treatments including whitening and composite bonding.
Dr Aoife O'Donnell BDS MFDS GDC 257525
Dr Aoife O’Donnell graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2015 and then went on to complete the MFDS with The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2017.
Aoife enjoys all aspects of dentistry, particularly restorative dentistry and treating anxious patients as well as having a keen interest in facial aesthetics.
Dr Jessica Baxter Brown BDS (Hons) GDC 290094
Dr Jessica Baxter-Brown qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2020 with Honours and a Distinction in Clinical Dentistry. She has been awarded multiple undergraduate prizes including the British Dental Association prize for General Dental Practice. Jessica has been at the practice since 2020 and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, especially fixed and removable prosthodontics. She is shortly taking the final part of her MFDS examinations to gain membership to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr Lyndsey Lawrence BDS BSc (Hons) MJDF RCS En GDC 244936
Dr Lyndsey Lawrence qualified as a Dental Technician from Manchester Met university in 2009, then she decided to further her education and went on to the university of Plymouth to study Dentistry where she qualified as a Dentist in 2013.Dr Lawrence has worked at Glencairn Dental Practice ever since, she has always been interested in Dental Implants and completed her master’s degree in Dental Implantology from Edge Hill University. Dr Lawrence enjoys all aspects of her job including treating both NHS and private patients. She enjoys teaching and she has lectured to Dental Nurses training in Implantology. She plans to further develop her interests and skills in Dental Implantology.
Dr Rosie Moss from Liverpool Dental Hospital in 2014 achieving her Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree with Honours and a Distinction in Restorative Dentistry. Following her Foundation Training year at Glencairn Dental Practice she secured a Senior House Officer post with the Merseyside Maxillofacial team and has since and has since gone on to graduate as a member of Edinburgh Royal College of Surgeons. Since completing this surgical training post Rosie returned to Glencairn to pursue her career as a general dentist with a specific interest in Dental Implantology where she gained he Masters Qualification in July 2020. Rosie also has a keen interest in Facial Aesthetics and Rejuvenation and is now performing Anti-wrinkle treatments, Dermal fillers and Skin Rejuvenation treatments.
Jenny Walker Therapist GDC 261809
Jenny graduated with a diploma in dental hygiene and therapy. She is actively involved in NHS research to study the utilisation of dental therapies in general practice.
She works with patients to develop tailored individual oral hygiene and plans to keep gums healthy.
Jenny plays an important role in supporting patients through their implant journey. This has led her to develop a special interest in peri implant disease, maintenance and monitoring protocols. She now lectures on the MSC dental implantology, NEBDN implant nursing certificate and hygiene therapy certificate.
Jenny has been nominated as the Dental Therapist representative for the British Society of Periodontology 2019.
Carrie-Anne Taylor

Carrie-Anne joined the team in 2020 after returning to the Wirral having lived in Bristol for the previous decade . While in Bristol Carrie-Anne worked alongside one of the south west’s leading periodontal specialists , taught at Bristol dental hospital and worked at and award winning practice providing pain free dentistry . She offers 5 star customer service and care. Carrie-Anne has undertaken training in the UK and America. She is committed to learning and keeping up to date with the latest techniques to offer patients. Carrie-Anne has a gentle and caring approach and is passionate about aiding patients in achieving and maintaining long-term dental health.
Mona Larkin RDN GDC 189332
Mona is a Dental Nurse and has been with the practice since 2008. Her main role is the Radiology lead. This role not only involves taking radiographs and CBCT scans she makes sure that we meet health and safety requirements associated with radiation within the practice.
Mona has a wide range of skills within the practice and works along side Professor Wright as an implant nurse and holds a post qualification in Implant Dental Nursing.
Kathy Miller RDN GDC 246653
Kathy is a Dental Nurse and has been at the practice since 2012. She works alongside Professor Wright as an Implant nurse and is the referral coordinator for the practice. Kathy holds a post qualification in Dental Implant Nursing and Dental Radiography.
Stephanie Littler RDN GDC 154005
Stephanie is a Dental Nurse and has been with the practice since 2013. She works alongside our Hygienist Jenny supporting patients through their implant journeys and helping tailor individual oral hygiene plans to keep gums healthy.
Emily McNulty RDN GDC 292092
Emily joined the practice in 2019 . She has completed her Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing. Emily is keen to further her skills and knowledge in Dentistry.
Leigh started with the practice in 2017, she is Decontamination Officer. She holds a certificate in Infection Control and Decontamination and attends all refresher courses to ensure that we are following all policies and infection control procedures to a high standard.,
Jacky has been a Dental Nurse at the practice since 2002, she is our Lead Oral Health Educator and is majorly involved in North West oral health network. Jacky is passionate about oral health care and regularly goes into local schools, Nursing homes and hospices giving advice on Oral Health. Jacky has post qualifications in Oral Health Education, Fluoride application and has completed a degree in Advanced Oral sciences. She makes sure that we follow the guidelines for Delivering Better Oral Health within the practice.
Amy Miller RDN GDC 187761
Amy is a Dental Nurse and has been at the practice since 2008, she is lead Lab and clinical coordinator for the practice ensuring the digital workflow runs smoothly between the lab and the practice. Amy holds post qualifications in Dental radiography and Implant nursing.
Helen Lunt RDN GDC 186189
Helen is a Dental Nurse and has been at the practice since 2008, she is HR lead for the practice. She holds post qualifications in Oral Health Education, fluoride application and Implant nursing.
