NHS Treatment Pricing

We are dedicated to providing high quality NHS dental care to our patients.  NHS treatment is divided into 4 bands of treatment.

Band 1 course of treatment – £25.80

This covers an examination, diagnosis (eg X-rays), advice on how to prevent future problems, a scale and polish if needed, and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.

Band 2 course of treatment – £70.70

This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal work or if your dentist needs to take out one or more of your teeth.

Band 3 course of treatment – £306.80

This covers everything listed in Bands 1 and 2 above, plus crowns, dentures and bridges.

Emergency or Urgent treatment -£25.80

This band addresses acute dental problems only.  The patient then needs to return for definitive treatment.

The costs of NHS Treatment changes each year and is displayed in posters in the waiting room, and on the entertainment screens.
